The goal here is to have as flat a torque curve as possible from 1500 to 5500. A daily driver with a level of reliability and little maintenance. I've built a couple of ~9:1 350's using 270+ and 280ish ...I think unless you think you need the added stacked features, the compact deluxe is everything you need. I went from a walrus deep six to the Compact deluxe and even though I found the buffer to add alot of high end to my chain, I cannot live without the cali76 compact deluxe.
